Carlow RFC

Robert Keady is one of the many volunteers involved in the running of the Carlow RFC. The club is an important outlet for the local community, of any age, to get involved in this historical sports and social club. A key focus is to introduce and develop children, youths, and adults into the sport of rugby, whilst also creating a family-friendly atmosphere to benefit all members and continue the very long tradition of Carlow RFC.

Robert was set with the task of sourcing an online ticketing solution. He knew that in order to modernise and become more efficient in the running of the club they had to go digital and move online. The old manual ticketing process was time-consuming and an administration burden for volunteers, keeping them away from family and work, and potentially risking the sustainability of the club.

Within days of meeting Ray Quinn, of Future Ticketing, Carlow Rugby were up and running. Robert was impressed by the easy administration of the ticketing platform both for volunteers and fans, and the support options available at a very affordable price for the club. Ticketing for summer rugby camps were set up within days. On the success of the summer camps, Robert used the dashboard to set up their club disco event, with tickets selling out in a record twenty minutes after their online release.
