- Oldham club’s multi-year deal with Future Ticketing
- Software will transform Avro’s ticketing operation
- Immediate access to revenues
Avro FC have announced Future Ticketing as their new partners, describing the company as a leading provider of digital ticketing solutions.
After promotion to the Northern Premier League, Avro has committed itself to a multi-year partnership with the cloud-based operator.
Future Ticketing’s software will allow the club to offer barcoded entry to the Vestacare Stadium in Oldham for the first time, amongst many other new and exciting advantages.
The club said it prioritises bringing the best practice in sport to Avro supporters and visiting spectators.
In particular, Avro chose Future Ticketing because it offers the most efficient barcoded ticketing and scanning system, online ticket booking, print-at-home tickets, mobile ticketing on phones and rewards for the club’s loyal fans, members and season ticket holders.
The partnership also includes brand new hardware for the turnstile operators to use and finally, the scanning of e-tickets will be encouraged, to save queuing times and inconvenience to supporters.
On the partnership, Charlie O’Brien, Operations Director at Avro FC said:
“I am delighted to be partnering with Future Ticketing and believe their software will help us transform our ticketing operation while making the purchase and processing of tickets much easier for both the club and our devoted supporters and visiting spectators. By engaging with the Future Ticketing application it gives us immediate access to our ticketing revenues, which is important for a club at the scale we operate.
“We were impressed by their user-friendly ticketing software, and their access control and functionality would help the club provide a secure environment as we progress to compete in the Northern Premier League next season following our promotion. We are confident that it will enable us to save time and money while enhancing supporter engagement.
“Season tickets and matchday tickets will be available digitally or in hard form, but we would like to encourage fans to use the digital option, including Google and Apple wallet tickets, where possible. The app lets customers access their accounts and view their friends, family members, and previous orders.
“There will also now be the option to purchase tickets with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Ronan Burns, Future Ticketing’s Head of Sales and Business Development spoke of how happy he is to be working with such a progressive club:
“Enabling Avro FC to digitalise their club has been an exciting project for us. Our Client Success team have been able to guide Avro FC through creating an online ticking offering, which also caters for walk up customers through payment terminals. Avro FC have great aspirations and it is great that we can play a part in their project.”
