- Future Ticketing in significant move into US parks and visitor attraction market
- Multi-year deal signed after competitive tender process
- Future Ticketing’s Clover-powered Ticket Store app provides full ticketing solution
Future Ticketing has announced a partnership with major US recreation park operator IRMO Chapin Recreation Commission (ICRC).
The Irish-based ticketing software provider was selected by ICRC after a competitive tendering process. ICRC operates five recreation parks in the State of South Carolina, Crooked Creek Park, Melvin Park, Mungo Park, Saluda Shoals Park and Seven Oaks Park.
There are more than 2.2 million visits a year to the ICRC parks where multiple events and activities take place on an ongoing basis. Future Ticketing provides a full solution for ICRC, including online ticket sales, walk-up sales and scanning. The community-focused park has ran events such as Light shows, Food Festivals, Paddle Tours and Summer camps.
All customer data remains in the ownership of ICRC. For users, as an API-integrated solution, all transactions and data are fed directly into the Future Ticketing dashboard allowing for a single source of transaction reporting and capacity management. Users can sell, redeem, reprint and collect barcoded tickets. These tickets are printed straight from the device reducing queues and workload on event day for staff. For users, as an API-integrated solution, all transactions and data are fed directly into the Future Ticketing dashboard allowing for a single source of transaction reporting and capacity management.
The IRMO team also benefit from the Future Ticketing venue management where each location has it’s own branding and users limited by permission policies.
Lindsay Hudson, Park Director, Saluda Shoals Park, said: “ICRC is excited to implement a ticketing software system for our agency. We offer large events that will benefit from selling barcoded tickets and speeding up the entry process for events. The first event we used Future Ticketing for was our Holiday Lights on the River event. This event is held daily for approximately five weeks and we had over 25,000 vehicles this past year. Using the ticketing software, we were able to get more vehicles into our drive-through light show with shorter wait times and the system allowed customers to pre-purchase tickets in advance.”
Peter McNeile, International Sales Director, Future Ticketing, said the company was proud to have been chosen by ICRC as its full service ticketing partner in the years to come.
“At Future Ticketing we work hard at developing bespoke solutions for partners across a diverse range of sectors and our unique Ticket Store App, with its integrated Clover solution, is the ideal fit for ICRC,” said McNeile.
“We are especially grateful to ICRC for recognising the superior breadth of functionality our ticketing system offers and we very much look forward to developing this partnership further.”
