- Linfield and Ballymena embrace professional approach
Future Ticketing has announced partnership extensions with two clubs in the Northern Ireland Football League.
Linfield FC and Ballymena United have both renewed contracts with Future Ticketing which has partnerships with 11 clubs across the Premiership and Championship.
Future Ticketing, the undisputed leading provider of cutting edge digital ticketing services for football in Northern Ireland, has said it is proud of its association with Linfield and Ballymena United and is looking forward to developing the relationships further.
Future Ticketing recognises that Linfield, 56 times champions in the NIFL, and Ballymena United, Irish Cup finalists for the last two seasons, share the passion for placing fans’ needs at the heart of ticket purchasing arrangements.
David Graham, General Manager, Linfield FC explained why the club had decided to remain part of the Future Ticketing family.
“Future Ticketing have been a pleasure to work with, and have displayed a professional approach throughout my time working with them,” said Graham. “Their support has been on hand at all times and we have been able to utilise the opportunities to assist our supporters with first class customer service. “I look forward to continuing to work together in the future.”
Recent seasons have seen NIFL clubs continue their digital transformation through efficient use of Future Ticketing’s advanced software systems. Travelling Linfield fans in particular have taken advantage of the opportunity to purchase tickets for fixtures away from home, safe in the knowledge that club members and season ticket holders are rewarded for their loyalty by getting priority access.
Ballymena FC have seen a year on year increase on season ticket sales using Future Ticketing, smashing their own goals in the process.
Rory Traynor, Client Success Manager with Future Ticketing for the partner clubs in the NIFL, said: “I’m delighted to continue working with both Ballymena United FC and Linfield FC for many more years to come.”
Traynor added: “It’s always encouraging to see our clients progressing and thinking of new ways to improve their fans’ experience. Both clubs are entering their second phase with us and we’re excited to be part of their journey.”
Chris Selwood, Club Chairman of Ballymena United said:
“Future Ticketing helped us begin our online ticketing journey back in 2020 and we have come a long way in that space of time. The flexibility of the system really helped us navigate our way through the Covid pandemic and all the restrictions that came with it. Since then we have gone from strength to strength and we’re looking forward to taking that to the next level in the coming years.
Future Ticketing are involved in almost every aspect of our fans’ matchday experience, from managing our season tickets to access control. We have even released an App which is fully integrated with our online tickets.”
In its onward digitisation journey, Linfield is also reaping the benefits of Future Ticketing’s integration with Skidata, along with the ULNK club app through which fan scan comfortably make their online bookings.
