Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers joined the sport of Rugby League in 1926, having previously been a successful junior club. Castleford plays its home games at the stadium on Wheldon Road since 1927, a venue that has been known as The Mend-A-Hose Jungle since 2014.

Over the last 100 years, the Tigers have grown into one of the most famous Rugby League Clubs in the UK. The club has consistently produced players who have achieved worldwide recognition in the game of Rugby League whilst donning the famous black and amber colours. 

As well as a successful team on the field, the off-field operation boasts a proactive and forward thinking setup which includes the Castleford Tigers Foundation, the community 

arm of the club with charitable status.

Challenge

In 2022, Castleford Tigers was seeking a modern ticketing solution including subscriptions, integration with Clover Epos solution, a ticketing app and an overall smoother, cleaner online journey for its fans.

Solution

Future Ticketing immediately began solving these needs by migrating Castleford’s existing season ticket holders to the Future Ticketing dashboard and allowing customers to renew their season tickets through subscriptions.

Prior to this, this process had been managed in a separate system but the software’s built-in subscription functionality made it easy for the Castleford team to report on customers who had paid their subscription or also to be proactive in reaching out to those fans who had yet to do so.

Castleford Tigers were able to migrate our existing season ticket holders easily to the Future Ticketing dashboard and allow customers to renew their season tickets through subscriptions. This offer was previously managed this in a separate system but the built-in subscription functionality makes it easy to report on customers who have paid their subscription or also have failed to, meaning Cas Tigers can be proactive with their fans. The option to have a dedicated ticketing app means fans can locate their tickets with ease to enter the ground.
